This is gonna allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. So if you set up the EXO system with the GearLocker and the GearWarrior, you can have a covered storage system as well as a rack to get those things like coolers and firewood out on your journey. This is gonna be a 24-inch by 60-inch carrier and we're gonna take a look at how it fits here on our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. This is a steel cargo basket with a 500-pound evenly distributed weight capacity, which means that you can carry a lot of things with this basket, expands your cargo space on your Equinox. Ideal for if you want to carry cargo that might be a little dirty, sandy or messy and you don't want it messing up the interior of your vehicle or if you wanna make it easier to lift up into the basket versus having to lift it into your hatch. This is actually a pretty good fit with the Equinox because it does have a little bit of a rise, and since you don't have much ground clearance with this vehicle, this is gonna help you out. CURT Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the CURT steel folding cargo carrier, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So a lot of people like the folding cargo carrier because since this carrier is made of steel people don't wanna take it off and on of their vehicle more often than they have to. So because it folds up, they can keep it on their car and they don't take up much space as if it was folded down. Now the downsides to this though is if you can see how it fits here on our Equinox, you can see that it takes up a good amount of width, but definitely the height. Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be talking about how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier with a 60-inch long ramp fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So this cargo carrier is pretty unique because it is made of aluminum, so it is lightweight, but it still has a really long ramp. With how it works with the Equinox, some things to keep in mind is I like how low to the ground it sits making it easier for the incline to ramp things up into their carrier. The downside is you are gonna have to have a two-inch hitch receiver and make sure you have enough tongue weight for those heavier items. Also, you are gonna lose access to your hatch once something is loaded up onto that ramp. So an aluminum cargo carrier is awesome if you need a little extra space, but you don't wanna put your cargo inside of your vehicle, you want it more accessible, and you want the cargo carrier to be lightweight to make it easier to install. That's where this one comes in handy. It's 60 by 22, meaning you have a lot of width, an okay amount of length for the carrier, and it is lightweight and corrosion resistant, you can leave it on your car and not have to worry about it. We're gonna focus on how it fits here on our Equinox. And the main thing for me with cargo carriers is how easy is it to install, how much space do I have for cargo, can I open up the hatch on our Equinox So in our case here, this sits straight out, and if you wanna open up your hatch, look at how much space it takes to lift that door up. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be taking a look at the Curt 24 x 60 Cargo Carrier, part number C18152. This cargo carrier is going to be great whether we just need to free up some space in our vehicle for a few more passengers and pets, or if we just went camping and have some dirty, wet gear that we don't want to put inside. Our cargo carrier does feature some reflectors on the back, that way other drivers will know that we have a carrier, and we have gear behind us.Now the walls inside of our cargo carrier are going to come in just at under 6", and as you can see we're going to have plenty of points for tie downs, that way we can secure our gear. Now the floor is made of a steel mesh, so it's going to be that easy to clean, and also very durable. Now there's a few measurements I'd like to give you. Overall from the outside edge of our bumper, it's going to come out to be about 31-1/2" that we're going to be adding to the total length of our vehicle. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox we're doing a test fit of the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now this is designed to work with 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Although it does have a pretty high weight capacity, it is very lightweight so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Starting off with our ground clearance, we're going to have about 15" to the bottom of our bolt down there. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 25-3/4". more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier with a 60inch Ramp, part number MT70260. Let's go ahead and get you some measurements. Your ground clearance at the lowest point is going to be about 12 3/4 inches. Overall, to the vehicle length, we've added 39 and 3/4 inches. With it folded down, our closest point of contact with the vehicle is going to be about 9 and 3/4 inches. Let's go ahead and measure the break-over-point, the point in which your load is going to contact your gate. That's right about 23 1/2 inches. Now this carrier comes with an anti-rattle device, which is a collar that slips around the outside of your receiver tube and you tighten it down. more

Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're doing test fit on the Stromberg Carlson 23x60 cargo carrier. This cargo carrier is designed for use with two inch hitches, and it offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is CC-100. A couple things I really like about the carrier here, one's going to be the size of that expanded steel on the floor. If you're putting muddy, chunky things on there, it's going to give us plenty of room for dirt and debris and things like that fall down and out. I also like the shorter rail that we've got around the outside. This is two and three-quarters of an inch high, so there's plenty of rail there for front-to-back and side-to-side stability. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're test fitting the Max Tow Aluminium Cargo Carrier. Now this cargo carrier is mainly aluminium construction, really nice and light weight. It's designed for sure in 2 inch hitches and it has a capacity of 500 pounds. The part number on it is MT70422. THIs carrier's 41, or I'm sorry 21 by 48. You can see it's got the aluminum slatted floor here, this floor's going to allow for plenty of that larger dirt and debris and things like that to fall down in through while giving us plenty of load support for our gear that we do have loaded up. The raised rail around the outside is going to be about 2 inches high. more

Thing I really like about the carrier, see this nice high raised rail that goes all the way around the outside It's going to be about 5 and 1/2 inches tall. That gives us good support for our gear, side-to-side and front-to-back. And you also see it makes some really nice connection points here for our straps. Also we're going to have reflectors on the side and on the rear to help increase our visibility. more

Let's go ahead and get you some measurements. Our ground clearance is going to be right about 14 inches. Overall it's going to add to your car, it's going to be about 32 and a 1/4. Now our closest point with it folded down, right about 11 and 1/4 inches. Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Surco 24x60 cargo carrier. Now they've designed this for use in two inch hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is 52018. Now to begin our test fit we need to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this, well line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole. With those properly aligned we are going to take a standard five eights pin and we'll slide that through and we'll secure it on the other side with our clip. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be doing a test fit on the 23 by 56 Rola Dart. This is a folding cargo carrier that's been designed for use in 2" hitches. Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be doing a test fit on the 20 by 47 MaxxTow aluminum cargo carrier. This has been designed for use with 2" hitches. The 2" shank runs the full length of the bottom of the carrier, which allows it to offer up to a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is MT70108. This is one of the lighter cargo carriers that we offer so if weight's going to be an issue it might be a really good choice for you. Curt 19x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be doing a test fit on the 19 by 60 CURT aluminum folding cargo carrier. Now this has been designed for use in 2" hitches. As you can see it's got a full length steel main reinforcement beam here on the underside which is going to allow us up to a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is C18100. Now this is one of the lighter cargo carriers that we offer so if weight's going to be an issue this might be a really good choice for you and your vehicle. To begin the test fit we just need to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, and line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. Once we have those lined up with one another we're going to take a standard 5/8 pin, slide that through and we'll secure it on the other side here with our clip. more
